Nairobi - The government has been urged to review the Value Added Tax (VAT) Bill and lower milk prices.
According to Kenya Dairy Board (KDB) managing director Macharia Gichohi, they will talk to parliamentary committees on agriculture and budget to amend the bill to reduce milk prices, Daily Nation reports.
He said the bill would force consumers to do away with processed milk and instead buy raw milk from hawkers.
