Farmer gets KES 500,000 compensation for lost sheep

Narok - A group of herders blocked the Narok-Bomet Road after a truck driver crushed 150 sheep in Narok County on Wednesday night.
The herders blocked the busy road for more than 10 hours causing heavy traffic jam, reports Daily Nation.
They wanted the driver to pay KES 2 million in compensation for them to clear the road, but the County’s governor gave the owner of the sheep KES 500,000.
The driver of the truck was arrested after the incidence.
