Fake cop case postponed till next year

Nyeri - Joshua Karianjahi Waiganjo, a conman who allegedly stole KES 50,000 from a former police inspector, will appear in court in January of next year after his case was postponed,Standard Digital reports.
Waiganjo was found guilty after he illegaly attained a police uniform, he is currently serving a two year sentence for that crime at Naivasha Maximum Prison.
Daniel Kago Gachanja, the former inspector that Waiganjo defrauded, said that the accused pretended to be a senior police officer with connections to senior government officials and security chiefs.
The court was not in session and therefore Waiganjo's case could not be heard.
