Ex-Officers deny having a hand in post-poll chaos

Nairobi - Former top security personnel have distanced themselves from allegations that they held meetings during the 2007/2008 post-poll chaos, Standard Digital reports.
The officers, Samson Cherambos and Augustine Cheruiyot, said never planned or organised any violence.
Cherambos, who formerly served as
commandant at the General Service Unit and the presidential escort,
dismissed the allegations as “totally untrue”.
