Nairobi - Eritrea did not bar President Uhuru Kenyatta’s jet from using its airspace on his way to Dubai, where he was scheduled to board a commercial flight to Los Angeles.
The country’s embassy spokesman, Beyene Russom Kenya was granted permission to fly the Air Force jet in his country’s airspace after a request that was made last week Thursday, Daily Nation reported.
However the jet did not reach the Eritrean airspace, it turned away in Ethiopian airspace, Russom said.
