Bungoma - The Standard reports eight suspects have in the past week been lynched by vigilantes in Bungoma county in relation to the recent killings in the region.
This comes as President Uhuru Kenyatta held a crisis meeting at State House, Nairobi, Thursday with top police chiefs over the rising cases of insecurity in the country.
The President ordered them to stop the spiraling insecurity, with sources saying that he read the riot act to the security chiefs.
