Education Ministry's budget raised by KES 4 billion

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports Education Ministry's budget was on Tuesday increased by KES 4 billion to cater for staff salaries and allowances.
Parliament's Budget and Appropriations Committee reduced Tourism and industrialisation budgets by KES 2 billion each, making the two ministries to each have KES 750 billion.
The committee further directed the education committee critically examine the allocation of laptops for school children with a view to reallocating some of the funds to deal with the teacher crisis.
