13 December 2011, 18:35
Nairobi - Capital News reports that doctors on Tuesday rejected a return to work formula reached on Monday night between the government and their union representatives and declared that the strike was still on.
The contentious deal was thrashed out in a closed-door meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and attended by Ministry of Health officials from 3pm until late on Monday.
After a four-hour closed door meeting between doctors and the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union(KMPDU), the medics said that the offer was not inclusive.
