Disabled and elderly won't queue to vote

Nairobi - The Standard reports persons with disability and other special groups such as the elderly will be excused from voting queues during the elections.

According to the independent Electoral and Boundaries commission (IEBC) its polling clerks have been instructed not to keep this group of voters in the queue for long.

The Nairobi Regional Elections Coordinator (REC) Bilha Kiptugen said the commission was making special arrangements to ensure each of these voters is facilitated without any constraints.
