Did Besigye sire with Kenyan woman?

14 August 2014, 10:46

Nairobi - A 22-year-old Kenyan man is tracing his roots to find out whether he is related to Uganda’s opposition politician Kizza Besigye.

Jeff Ochieng, who works as a photojournalist, says his mother died 10 years ago before telling him who his father was.

He has never lived see his father, although he resembles Besigye, The Star reports.

He says he was once sent to Uganda on duty and was astonished when everyone ran towards him shouting Besigye’s name.

In his response to the matter, Besigye said he never fathered anyone in Nairobi but admitted that Ochieng is one of the people who resemble him.

Ochieng now plans to travel to Kampala and looks forward to meeting Besigye during the visit.
