Defence lawyers begin grilling ICC witness

The Hague - The first witness in the International Criminal Court's case against Deputy President William Ruto and his co accused Joshua arap Sang started being cross-examined on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Capital News, lawyer Katwa Kigen, who heads Snag's defence team was first up to question the witness will proceed with the session on Thursday before Ruto’s lawyer Karim Khan has his chance.
The Trial Chamber V (a) Judges on Wednesday turned down an application by the prosecution to have part of the defence evidence thrown out, in the proceedings of witness P0536, thats being held in-camera.
