Curfew for boda boda operators after killings

31 December 2012, 16:18

Migori - Migori acting DC John Fedha has banned motorcyclists from operating in town at night following the killing of three riders.

According to The Standard, the three motorcyclists were stabbed to death by unknown assailants in separate incidents in a span of ten days.

Speaking in Migori town, Fedha said the riders will now only be allowed to operate between 5am and 9pm to avert crime and warned that those who defy the order will be arrested and charged in court.
