Court grants bail to Chinedu

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports Nigerian businessman Anthony Chinedu was granted bail after a magistrate rejected an application that sought to have him held in custody until the end of his trial.
Chinedu was granted a cash bail of KES 200,000 or a surety bond of KES 500,000 by Nairobi Chief Magistrate Kiarie Waweru pending hearing on May 6th.
He was charged for being in Kenya illegally and for forging a Nigerian passport.
