Nairobi - Capital News reports that the High Court has temporarily reinstated five judges removed from their offices by the Judges and Magistrates Vetting Board.
In a unanimous decision, a five-judge bench ruled that the High Court had jurisdiction to supervise and review the decisions of the board.
The court’s order follows a challenge to the board’s decision to eject Supreme Court Judge Mohammed Ibrahim, Court of Appeal Judges Riaga Omollo, Joseph Nyamu and Roselyn Nambuye, in addition to High Court Judge Jeanne Gacheche.
