Nairobi - County governments have been told to review their budgets and eliminate wasteful expenditure before receiving their KES 210 billion budget allocation.
Comptroller of Budget Agnes Odhiambo said the money has not been released to the counties until they review their budgets as they had been directed, reports The Standard.
However, county governments were on Monday authorized to sustain their operations with the money they have collected from their sources of revenue.
