Nairobi - Daily Nation reports civil servants have threatened to join teachers in the strike if the government will not increase their allowances.
The move comes as the teacher's strike enters its third day, paralysing learning in all public schools countrywide.
According to the Kenya Civil Servants Union (KCS), it could ask its members to go on strike if the government fails to increase its members allowances up to 60 per cent.
