Chinese firm donates supplies to Kibera school

Nairobi - China Road and Bridge Corporation, one of the biggest beneficiaries from the recent boom in road construction in Kenya took time to visit a school in Kibera and hand out some supplies.

Nairobi, Tuesday July 15, 2014.
The company donated food and
school supplies to the school, which houses orphans and depends on donations for survival in order to help the students there.
Kibera is one of the largest slums in Kenya and with more
than 400 students, the school is always lacking in supplies.
The students were also treated to free lessons on the importance of building roads and bridges and how that impacts the country.
The company has majorly featured in Kenya's recent past as far as building roads and bridges is concerned and it is believed that they have build over 2,000 kilometers of roads and bridges in Kenya in the recent past.
