Botswana’s envoy in Nairobi attacked

Nairobi - Botswana’s deputy High Commissioner residence in Nairobi’s Runda estate was broken into by armed guards on Tuesday night and unknown amount of money and valuables taken.
Speaking to Capital News, Nairobi Provincial Police Chief Moses Nyakwama said the envoy Elizabeth Masego who was sleeping in her house was not hurt during the midnight raid but her guard was injured.
As he confirmed the incident, Nyakwama said that a group of six men broke into the envoy’s compound, tied the guard before they made their way into the main house.
