Bloggers to be arrested over hate speech

Nairobi - The Standard reports two bloggers identified by the Ministry of Information and Communication for spreading hate messages on the Internet will be arrested and charged in court.
According to the ministry’s National Steering Committee on Media Monitoring the bloggers would be charged after investigations.
Director of Communications Mary Ombara said they are seeking closer collaboration and assistance from the management of Facebook and appealed to patriotic Kenyans to help them identify these offenders who hide under pseudonyms and bogus accounts.
