The Hague - International Criminal Court (ICC) judges were annoyed with the court’s prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, for failing to call the first witness to testify in the trial that had began at the court, forcing the court to adjourn.
Presiding Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji expressed his displeasure with the prosecutor saying that it was a shame since the court was ready to proceed with the trial of Deputy President William Ruto and former radio journalist Joshua Sang, The Standard reports.
According to the prosecution, the witness was still traveling to The Hague and therefore asked the court to adjourn until Tuesday next week since Monday is a public holiday.
