Nairobi - The International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Fatou Bensouda has been allowed to add two witnesses to her list in the case against Deputy President William Ruto.
In their ruling, the court’s Trial Chamber judges said this would not affect Ruto’s lawyers preparation for the case, adding that the additional witnesses will be among the last people to testify in the case set to begin on September 10, Daily Nation reports.
This week, three witnesses who were supposed to testify against Ruto pulled out of the case saying that they were traumatized and their statements had been manipulated by officials at the court.
