The Hague - Deputy President William Ruto’s lawyer Karim Khan disagreed with ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda over allegations that some witnesses had been intimidated, bribed and even threatened, forcing them to withdraw from the cases.
Bensouda asked for investigations into the matter but Khan criticized her saying that she had brought a shoddy case before the court, Daily Nation reports.
Khan also accused Bensouda’s predecessor, Luis Moreno-Ocampo of launching incompetent investigations into the case.
