Bensouda: I have no strong case against Muthaura

27 February 2013, 12:08

Nairobi - Capital News reports International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Fatou Bensouda has said that her case against Francis Muthaura is flawed after dropping a main witness in the case.

In her submission to Trial Chamber V, she said that witness 4 was the principal source of evidence that supported the Prosecution’s charges against Muthaura at the confirmation stage.

Adding that there would not have been sufficient evidence to confirm the charges against Muthaura without Witness 4’s evidence.
