03 October 2013, 08:05
Nairobi - Journalist Walter Barasa has claimed that the International Criminal Court had issued an arrest warrant against him because he refused to cooperate with the court’s Office of the Prosecutor (OTP).
According to Barasa, ICC investigator Paul Irani, had asked him to implicate Deputy President William Ruto in the withdrawal of prosecution witnesses but he refused, The Standard reports.
He claims that since then, Irani began to threaten him, telling him that he would be arrested if he fails to cooperate with the court.
