Ochieng was last week arrested by police in what was initially stressed as a motive to get the vehicle back, allegedly because the mechanic had handled the vehicle in a Nakuru garage.
He was also charged by police with having a gun without a certificate, accusations he had vehemently denied.
The car has already arrived in Nairobi and has been taken to the CID headquarters in the city.
