All national and county staff to be reviewed

Nairobi - All national and county staff will be reviewed towards the end of the year by government, Daily Nation reports.

The process is to ensure that staff have the necessary skills to implement in their daily tasks.

With this system government is trying to redeploy, transfer, train or retrench those who do not meet the requirements and this will form part of the public service reform agenda of which the outcomes, will be implemented next year.

Representatives that will be present at the review is the Public Service Commission, Salaries and Remuneration Commission, Council of Governors and the Union of Kenya Civil Servants.
