Garissa - Fear has gripped residents of Ijara sub-county in Garissa after suspected Al Shabaab militants raided two mosques in the area on Tuesday night.
The heavily armed militia forced worshippers in the two mosques in Tumtish and Kabasalo villages to listen to a lecture where they criticized the Kenyan government during the ordeal that began at 6p.m, The Standard reported.
They are said to have named the people they said were spies and traitors in the region.
They disappeared into a nearby forest after their mission.
