AP officer arrested with 6kg of ivory

Nairobi - Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officials arrested an Administration Police (AP) officer with two pieces of worked ivory at the Gathiga AP Post in Kiambu County on Friday morning.
The Standard reports that the suspect was arrested while attempting to sell off the six-kilogram trophies at KES 40,000 per kilogramme.
This is the second such arrest made by KWS officials this week, following a tip off from the public.
