80 ICC witnesses leave the country

Nairobi - The 80 witnesses who will testify against Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto, Francis Muthaura and Joshua Arap Sang at the International Criminal Court trials have left the country.

According to The Standard, the witnesses and their families have been granted lifetime protection, and some might even acquire new identities.

They will never return to Kenya after completion of the cases.
