70 confirmed dead in Garissa University attack

Nairobi - Kenya's interior ministry says that more than 70 people were killed after Al-Shabaab militants stormed Garissa university on Thursday.
They also said that at least 79 people were injured, and that 90% of the threat against the university had been eliminated.
Kenya National Disaster Operation Centre said that more than 500 students have been rescued.
9 people who were critically injured were airlifted from Garissa Airbase to Nairobi for treatment.
A curfew has been ordered between 18:30 to 06:30 for Tana River, Garissa, Wajir and Mandera until April 16.
