59 senior officers transferred in police reshuffle

Nairobi - The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Joel Kitili has transferred 59 senior officers in police reshuffle Tuesday.
Former Masaba North OCPD, Patterson Maelo has been moved to Mombasa while Manase Musyoka was moved to Garissa in a bid to help manage insecurity in the two volatile Counties.
Kitili also appointed five new county commanders and deployed two traffic commanders to regular duties, Daily Nation reports.

According to Standard, Richard Kerich who was serving as the Buruburu OCPD has been appointed the Nairobi County deputy Commander.
Former police spokesman, Zipporah Mboroki was transferred from Vigilance House to Lari, where she will be serving as the OCPD.
Deputy President, William Ruto’s security detail Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Noah Maiyo was moved to the Presidential Escort Unit (PEU) at State House.
