Nairobi - 447 people have been deported in the crackdown on terror, Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo has said.
A further 288 have been taken to court and over 700 sent back to refugee camps, he said.
In a report on the ongoing Usalama Watch in the country, Kimaiyo also says that there has been a reduction in cases of crime in the country.
He further says that the crackdowns in the country on terror suspects, which have seen thousands arrested will also continue until radical elements are eliminated from the country.
Kimaiyo also said that there will be further directives released on ways of dealing with insecurity including potentially banning the use of tinted windows in vehicles in the country.
