Nairobi - The Standard reports that four elephants were killed in the Tsavo Conservation area in Taita-Taveta County, using arrows..
Confirming the incident, KWS also admitted that they are treating an average of four elephants every week shot with poisoned arrows by suspected poachers in the ecosystem.
The conservation body said poachers had now resorted to using arrows to kill elephants and rhinos in local ranches bordering Tsavo, to avoid detection by rangers and wardens.
