4 dead 6 injured in Lang'ata Road accident

Nairobi - Four people died on Sunday while six others were injured after a matatu overturned on Langata road, Nairobi.

Nairobi County police commander Japheth Koome told The Star that the matatu driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle.

He said that the number of people in the vehicle at the time of the accident was yet to be established.

The Daily Nation said that the Nairobi Traffic Commandant Leonard Katana confirmed that four suffered serious injuries while two others minor in the 1 PM accident. 

Katana said that the matatu was headed to the city centre when the driver lost control, veering off the road.
