4 arrested in Nairobi terror swoop: Police

Nairobi - Police have arrested four people accused of having with them materials used to make explosive devices.
The four were arrested Sunday in Nairobi's Majengo estate which is usually frequented by slum dwellers in the Eastlands region.
They were all taken to the Buruburu Police station for questioning and further investigation.
Buruburu police boss Richard Ng'etich confirmed the incident and said the four were arrested after a tip off from members of the public.
" They had material similar to those used to make explosive devices. We have also been told that they are suspicious characters, he said.
He also thanked members of the public for alerting the police and urged them to remain vigilant.
Kenya is under scrutiny as regards it security apparatus following continued attacks by terror groups as well as armed gangs.
