Za Jadi: Gospel comes to life
15 July 2016, 12:41
Nairobi - “There was a time when gospel music was rich, edifying and
authentic. Back when radio stations played spirit-filled tunes and
Bible-inspired lyrics. Times have changed but those songs have never left us.”
This is the inspiration for what could easily be the biggest gospel concert in
a long time, Za Jadi (From the past/ Tradition). The event celebrates gospel
music when it was at its finest, something a lot of the musicians coming up now
have no respect for.
This one of a kind worship session will be brought to life
by the T.H.E band, Zidi the band, James Kahero & friends and a surprise act
on Sunday the 24th of July at the Michael Joseph Center here in Nairobi.
Tickets are going for KES 400 (Advance) and KES 500 (Gate) with the show running
from 2:30 to 5:30pm.
