Youth have turned to bhang smoking, Commissioner Laments

Murang'a - Murang’a County Commissioner Kula Hache has lamented over an increase of bhang smoking amongst the youth.
Hache said youths have turned to bhang following an intensive crackdown of second generation brews.

She has however warned that government will not spare those who will be found in possession or smoking bhang.
Hache also announced that over the weekend police confiscated two sacks of bhang following a raid in various areas within the County.
She noted that that in the first round raid on second generation brews which was done last year, 2,045,211 litres of second generation brews were destroyed in the County.
Kigumo constituency led in destruction of more than 1,058,422 liters of the brews.
