You are ordinary like me, Jubilee MP tells Raila

12 April 2016, 19:45 Victor Tinto

Nairobi - You are an ordinary citizen and should act like one, a Jubilee MP has told CORD leader Raila Odinga.

Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru says that the CORD leader has no right to call for a State of the Nation Address and speak out against President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee government.

He says that unlike the President who is in-charge of the country, the CORD leader has no elective position and should thus act like it.

" Uhuru represents the people of Kenya. Waweru represents the people of Dagoretti. Who does Raila represent?," he posed.

He asked the CORD leader to keep his feelings about the government to himself.

" He should keep them to himself. They are not things which he is offering to help the government improve. They are not of any help to Kenyans," he added.

He was reacting to the State of the Nation address by the CORD leader which took place in Nairobi over the weekend.
