Wrangles threatens to split New Ford Kenya party

Bungoma - Wrangles facing New Ford Kenya party in Bungoma County led by Mr.Kenneth Lusaka may split it further if what is happening within its ranks is anything to go with.
Last week a faction purporting to be the NFK leaders emerged and dismissed Governor Lusaka and his team as non starters and they have never been genuine members of NFK.
However, New Ford Kenya delegates in Bungoma County have out boldly and dismissed a faction of leaders who are trying to sabotage the party through creating divisions.
Delegates Martin Wanyonyi and Martin Walusaka have termed the recent aborted coup led by a former Special branch officer Benjamin Wanyonyi to belittle the party leader Kenneth Lusaka has the highest case of insubordination.
Addressing the press in Bungoma town, the duo said Lusaka is the party leader and the supporters should not believe in propaganda being spread by their rivals that Lusaka has been removed at the helm as the party CEO.
“Disciplinary actions should be taken against Wanyonyi and his group, they should stop misleading our loyal supporters, he has no capacity to be the party National Treasurer whosoever, he failed at the nomination stage when he was vying as the West Sang’alo Ward MCA in 2013 and cannot purport to speak on behalf of our party,” said Walusaka.
Wanyonyi said that the current national NFK treasurer is Mr.Swaleh Ahmed from Marsabit and the loyal supporters should not be confused by a few individuals trying to seek for political relevance through the back door.
“We want Wanyonyi and his friends to tender a public apology on the personality of governor Kenneth Lusaka for misleading the public, they have not or will never be NFK leaders, we don’t know who gave them the mandate to speak on behalf of our party,” said Walusaka.
The duo called on Wanyonyi to henceforth stop using the party title and concentrate on things that can better his life instead of masquerading as the NFK national secretary.
“He is not a delegate nor a party treasurer and should stop using the title before we take a ligle action against him, why should he belittle our party leader?,” they said.
On Wednesday while addressing the press in Bungoma town, Benjamin Wanyonyi said that they will not allow Mr.Lusaka to auction NFK by making it join the Jubilee party.
“Lusaka is not a member of NFK and has no powers to dissolve it and join JP, we will remain independent and will decide when to join other coalitions later,” he said. ENDS
