Woman slashes buttocks of her three children for stealing KES 1,000

Bungoma - Police in Bungoma are in hot pursuit of a woman who allegedly slashed her three children’s buttocks for allegedly stealing KES 1,000.
Mateka Location Chief, Barasa Nyongesa confirmed that the woman identified as Beatrice Namaeso used a kitchen knife to slash the buttocks of her children for stealing her money.
Namaeso, who hails from Mateka village in Bumula Sub County, is said to have fled after committing the heinous act.
“My officers have comped every corner of Bumula sub County and soon she will be arrested. That is the worst punishment ever,” said Nyongesa.

The injured children are receiving treatment at the Bungoma County Referral Hospital and are in stable condition.
Namaeso, a hotel businesswoman at Mateka Shopping center slashed the hand of the first child, buttocks of the second and ear of the third.
Neighbours said she unleashed terror on the children aged between four and eleven after she found the money missing when she returned home from work.
“We can’t allow such incident to go on untamed,” Nyongesa said.
