Why 'woman on top' is the most dangerous sex position

Many young women and men love this new and exciting style of love making. Women have embraced it as a liberation statement and want nothing to do with the drudgery of the 'Missionary Position.' As is true with all things we cherish, there is always a price to pay. Men seem to be the ones paying a painful price for the new turn of events in the bedroom.
According to a scientific study in Brazil, 'woman on top' is the most dangerous sex position.
"Our study supports the fact that sexual intercourse with 'woman on top' is potentially the riskiest sexual position related to penile fracture. Doctors and academics looked at patients attending Accident and Emergency units with suspected 'penile fractures' over a 13-year period. These men reported hearing a crack before experiencing pain, while some were suffering from swelling," concludes the study.

It is not too hard to figure out why, because it is really not rocket science. When the woman is on top and controlling the movement with her entire body weight landing on the erect penis, she can cause much damage to it in the event of a wrong penetration, which is common in the heat of things. She may continue romping for a little longer before he stops her, causing further destruction. In another position where he is controlling the movement, he has better chances of stopping the penetration energy in response to the pain related to the penis harm, and thereby minimizing or avoiding harm.
The study, published in the Advances in Urology journal, revealed that 50% of the patients presented with an audible crack followed by pain. The condition of penile fracture was confirmed after clinical, radiology and surgical evaluation by the scientists, who looked at three hospitals in Campinas, a city of three million people in Brazil. They used hospital records and in some cases interviewed the patients.
Some other causes were homosexual activity and other heterosexual positions like doggy style. 'Woman on top' was however the one that was responsible for the most penile fractures. Many patients, the report revealed, delayed seeking medical attention for up to 6 hours. This could be partly due to the fact that penile fracture is relatively an uncommon clinical condition and also one that is likely to causes fear and embarrassment to the patient. The scientists warn that these delays are risky to the patient as they may lead to impairment of sexual and voiding functions.
