Why Mulembe consciousness will not materialize

Bungoma - Bungoma Governor, Kenneth Lusaka has ruled out marriage of convenience by the young turks who are fronting for Mulembe consciousness saying the die has already been cast.
Speaking to journalists in an interview, Lusaka said any quest for Luhya Unity will only materialize after 2017 general elections.
"I developed cold feet after those who are pushing for Mulembe Consciousness started abusing me. I could not be a party to such machinations," he said.
Lusaka said leaders will come from the Luhya community as it was the case with Masinde Muliro and Michael Wamalwa Kijana but not in the manner it was done now.
"After 2017 elections, we can start discussing on the need for Luhya unity but for now I am already comfortable with Jubilee after dissolving New Ford Kenya," he said.
