Why Kabogo apologised to DP Ruto

Nairobi - Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has apologised to Deputy President William Ruto. But why?
The Governor apologised to the DP following comments attributed to him that seemed to point to him stating that he would not get the support of the Kikuyu community in the 2022 General Elections.
But the Governor and the DP were a united front earlier this week, showing no signs of the ill feeling that was supposedly developing between the two.
And it has emerged that President Uhuru Kenyatta had a hand in the apologies on the day.
According to sources, the President spoke to Kabogo and told him to apologize as his words threatened to kill the spirit of the to be formed Jubilee Party.
" The President spoke to Kabogo and told him his feelings about the comments made and how they were not helpful," a State House source told News24.
" Kabogo was urged to show the public that the misunderstanding was over," the source added.
The DP and Kabogo were all smiles when they met, thanks it seems to President Kenyatta.
