'Why I will always support Raila', MP reveals

Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga is not to blame for the existence of the Kibera slums, an MP has said.
Kibra MP Ken Okoth says that those who claim that the CORD leader and former Lang'ata Mp was to blame for the state of the slums were engaging in lies as Raila was not the MP for Kibera since its inception.
" Truth is that Raila was Lang'ata MP for 20 years. Kibra has been around for 40 years. Who is to blame but for the government of the past," Okoth argued in an interview with News24.
" Further, Raila has been in the opposition for many of the 20 years he was in-charge. To even develop an area under the old Constitution was a problem unless in government and they all know that," he added.
The CORD leader has been accused of being an under-developer whilst claiming he can lift the country if given the chance to be President.

Okoth says that he will support the CORD leader to the complete end.
" He is my hero and will always get my support. That does not change," he added.
" Very few can claim to fight for liberation of this nation and Raila is one of them," he added.
Raila is set to contest for the 2017 General Elections on a CORD Coalition ticket of which he is favourite.
