Why has Raila postponed Coastal tour?
17 August 2016, 16:37
Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga has postponed his tour of Taita Taveta County in Coastal Kenya.
He has postponed it to allow him time to receive the joint team report on the dissolution and re-composition of the electoral body IEBC, he said.
He however will still tour Kwale and Tana River.
" Sadly we are at a critical stage of the IEBC talks and we needed time to deal with it. It is a big issue of national importance and I had to make myself available for it," he stated.
Raila will be in Kwale and Tana River Thursday and Friday respectively.
He will tour the regions as he seeks support for his ODM party as well as his 2017 Presidential election hopes.
