Why Gumo dumped ODM for Jubilee

Nairobi - The exodus from the ODM party to the ruling coalition Jubilee continues. But why?
For some MPs, the move to the ruling coalition is to seek a better opportunity to get yet another term in office in the wake of unending pressure.
Others, though, it is about past grievances.
Take Gumo for example.
ODM source state that Gumo has been bitter with party leader Raila Odinga because he turned down a request for direct nomination for the Westlands Parliamentary in the 2013 elections.
Raila, facing increased concerns all over the party that he was supporting his old boys in their bids to win time in office, decided to go against Gumo and the race for the seat went to nomination stage where Timothy Wanyonyi won the race to get the ODM ticket.
He went on to win the elections.
" Gumo has been very bitter with Raila for the last four years thus his move to Jubilee. It is not surprising that he has moved," the source told News24.
Gumo has recently joined the Jubilee Coalition as a member of the New Ford Kenya party.
