Why changes to Nairobi Police bosses has been stopped

Nairobi - Changes that had been effected to the Nairobi Police command have bee scrapped. But why?
The changes, effected Tuesday evening have been stopped with immediate effect after what was described as bribery allegations against the process.
It is understood that Deputy Inspector General Joel Kitili nullified the changes after investigations showed that there was tribalism of the highest order in the changes made.
Bribery as well as nepotism were also reported.
“The acting DIG of Kenya Police Service has treated the referred
deployment null and void and the officers affected by the deployment
should remain at their former stations," he said.
The Police service has on a number of occasions named among the most corrupt in the country.
All Officers Commanding Stations OCS' in the city had been moved in the changes announced Tuesday.
Keino (Riruta), Francis Muthee Gichuhi (Karen), Joseph Kiplagat
Cherotich (Huruma), Christopher Wesonga (Shauri Moyo), Bashir Ali
(Kikuyu), Isaac Sirengo (Wilson Airport) and Alphonse Ngundo (Baringo) were moved in the changes.
Johnson Matoke, Amos Shamalla, Amos Ambasa, Isaac Ewaton and Paterson Lipa were also moved.
The changes sought to freshen up the system in the wake of increased crime waves in the city.
