What is the ideal BMI?

BMI is the rate that is used to determine whether you have the ideal weight.
It is calculated by dividing your weight in Kgs by your height in square meters. The result shows the amount of fat in your body.
The average BMI of a healthy person should range between 20 and 22. Such people have the chance to live longer than the rest, and cannot contract diseases easily.
However, a ratio of 25 is still considered healthy. A BMI below 20 indicates low body fat, and requires you to gain extra kilos.
Once your BMI hits above 25, you need to start finding the best solutions for weight loss because you are considered overweight. Obesity is when your BMI is above 30.
You need to feed well and engage in the right workout program in order to achieve and maintain the average BMI.
