Wetangula vows to kick MP out of CORD

Nairobi - Bungoma Senator and CORD leader Moses Wetang'ula has sued a CORD MP for allegedly defaming him.
He sued Sirisia MP Waluke at the High Court in Nairobi over allegations that he is being
funded by the Jubilee government and is in essence a Jubilee mole.
Wetang’ula's lawyers filed a defamation suit
against Waluke over statements made in April.
" We all know that he masquerades as a CORD co principal when in reality he is a Jubilee mole," Waluke stated as written in the court papers.
Wetang’ula says the defamatory remarks were made on April 28 and 30 in Bungoma town.
" The claims made me look like I am untrustworthy and deceitful about my
political persuasions, standing and affiliation as it is publicly
known,” he added.
When contacted by News24, Waluke was ready for the court process.
" Lets meet in court. I have nothing more to say," he stated.
The two have been at loggerheads in recent months over their allegiance to the CORD Coalition, with Waluke stressing that he is working with the ruling Jubilee Coalition to ensure development for his people.
Wetang'ula has been on record as saying he will ensure Waluke is kicked out of CORD for supporting Jubilee projects.
