Bungoma - The infighting between the New Ford Kenya party leader Kenneth Lusaka and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang’ula continued with Lusaka blaming Wetang’ula of Witch hunt.
Speaking in Kanduyi constituency, Lusaka blamed Wetang’ula for planning to finish him politically yet they were elected by majority residents.
“Wetang’ula is not being sincere on his presidential bid, he should stop fighting me if he wants to succeed politically, I also have my supporters and they can be of help in his bid,” said Lusaka.
The Bungoma governor noted that the senate minority leader is fond of maligning his name through unsubstantiated claims and should be prepared for a tough dwell.
He pointed out that the recent bill tabled in the senate by the Bungoma Senator was putting his job in jeopardy and he won’t continue waiting has lies are being fed to the public.
“He has just tabled lies on the Wheelbarrow purchase saga, the executive seat and graft that has no evidence, this means that he is going to use all means to see me lose my seat in the next general election so that his preferred candidate takes over, on this let him expect a battle of the titans,” warned Lusaka.
He said that the senate minority leader was fond of fighting other leaders who don’t subscribe to his line of thinking and he should be prepared because they are going to face each other head on.
Lusaka noted that he has already started campaigning for a businessman Wycliffe Wangamati to unseat him in the next general election yet he wants support from all and sundry to win the presidency.
“Why are you trying to pull me down yet you expect me to support you as a presidential candidate? I will also pull you down so that you don’t succeed, good leaders support each other for the success of the County but the infighting only creates divisions,” said Lusaka.
He said Western region has got no the preferred presidential leader because of the infighting from self seeking leaders. ENDS
